Hi, I'm Lena — the photographer behind MatiolaArt.

The name comes from my childhood. Matiola is a small, modest flower with the most wonderful evening scent, and that name stayed with me long after I grew up. Later, art happened to me — and somehow the two found each other.

I photograph nature up close: wildflowers, leaves, buds, the tiny details most people walk past without noticing. Many of my favorite shots happen on everyday walks with my little dog, when the light is just right and something ordinary suddenly looks extraordinary.

Every design in this shop starts as one of my original macro photographs — no stock images, no AI. I turn them into prints, clothing and gifts, so you can bring a small piece of nature into your home or wear it with you.

I am now based in Czech Republic — and wherever I am, I keep finding small wonders worth stopping for.
